- Deliver compelling lectures and seminars on various physics topics, including classical mechanics, quantum physics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism.
- Design and update course syllabi, assignments, and assessments aligned with current scientific standards and educational best practices.
- Facilitate laboratory sessions utilizing advanced equipment such as microscopy, spectroscopy instruments, and computer simulations to enhance experiential learning.
- Guide students through research projects involving data collection, analysis, and presentation in areas like biophysics, astrophysics, or materials science.
- Incorporate modern learning technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Blackboard to support online and hybrid instruction formats.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking among diverse student populations.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives that integrate emerging fields such as machine learning, bioinformatics, or quantum engineering into physics courses.
- A Ph.D. in Physics is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in university-level teaching or adult education settings with a strong record of working with students.
- Extensive laboratory experience with scientific instrumentation including microscopy, spectroscopy, and dissection techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or MATLAB for research applications and computational modeling.
- Knowledge of research methodologies across disciplines like biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, or ecology to support interdisciplinary teaching efforts.
- Familiarity with learning technologies including LMS platforms like Blackboard or Moodle to facilitate blended learning environments.
