**Main Responsibilities:**
Understand device physics and develop physical models, including optical, electrical, and thermal aspects in semiconductor lasers and modulators.
Have a deep understanding of device physics, with expertise in data analysis to establish connections between performance and design through data analysis.
Design semiconductor lasers, handle chip processing, reliability, and failure analysis.
Job Requirements:
Master's/Ph.D. degree in Physics, Optics, or Electrical Engineering (EE). Solid foundation in semiconductor physics.
Experience in epitaxial design and simulation modeling of semiconductor optoelectronic devices, such as high-speed semiconductor photodetectors.
Experience in simulation and design of high-speed RF optoelectronic devices.
More than two years of experience in the design and development of high-speed semiconductor photo detectors, including device design and modeling, photomask layout, wafer manufacturing process design, packaging, etc., is preferred.
Practical experience in semiconductor photodetector design, chip processing, reliability, and failure analysis; those with actual design experience are preferred.
Strong ability to analyze device testing data.
Experience in aging and failure analysis of semiconductor optoelectronic devices is preferred.
Good English and Mandarin reading and writing skills; experience with design software and device simulation software is a plus.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
