Data Engineer
Location: Washington, DC
Job Description:
- Serve as a Data Engineer on a cross-functional team to help solve pressing problems
- Serves as a Data Pipeline Engineer
- Ensure that customers work with updated and accurate data
- Be the first to respond to data health failures on key pipelines
- Read code to identify fixes and increase stability of data pipelines
- Work alongside pipeline engineers from other customer accounts
- Create user-facing applications in support of mission needs
- Support data integration efforts
- Design UX and platform navigation improvements
- Provide feedback to the engineering team about product
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science / Engineering (or related career field) preferred
3+ years of experience with the following:
- Data Transformation
- Data Engineering
- Software Engineering
Extensive experience coding/programming in:
- Python and Java
- TypeScript/JavaScript
Experience with at least one of the following is preferred:
Required: Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
