Overview
Absolute Climate Control is building something no contractor in Georgia has figured out yet.
We are actively working with state-level HER (Home Energy Rebate) programs and have a backlog of multifamily projects that cannot move forward due to one critical gap: QBAT energy modeling.
GEFA has confirmed that no contractor has successfully scaled this yet.
We are looking for the person who will solve it.
This is not a typical role. This is a high-impact opportunity to:
- Build the modeling system that unlocks millions in projects
- Work directly with leadership and program stakeholders
- Become the go-to expert in a rapidly emerging space
If you understand building energy modeling at a deep level—and want to apply it in the real world at scale—this is your seat.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute energy models for multifamily projects using tools aligned with QBAT requirements
- Translate real-world building conditions into accurate simulation inputs
- Work through program compliance requirements tied to HER / IRA rebate structures
- Collaborate with internal auditors, project managers, and leadership to move projects forward
- Interface with program administrators (GEFA) to refine and validate modeling outputs
- Build repeatable workflows, templates, and processes for scaling modeling across multiple projects
- Troubleshoot modeling failures and optimize for approval success
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with building energy modeling tools such as EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, or similar platforms
- Background in building science, energy engineering, or sustainability consulting
- Experience with multifamily buildings strongly preferred
- Understanding of energy codes, rebate programs, or decarbonization initiatives is a major plus
- Ability to think critically and solve problems in undefined environments
- Strong attention to detail with data inputs and assumptions
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, execution-focused environment
Compensation & Opportunity
- Competitive base salary (based on experience)
- Performance-based bonuses tied to project approvals and volume
- Opportunity to define and lead a new division within a growing company
- Direct access to leadership and decision-making
- Massive upside as this program scales
Why This Role is Different
Most roles ask you to fill a seat.
This role asks you to build the playbook.
The first contractor to solve QBAT modeling for HER programs will have a pipeline of work waiting.
We intend to be that contractor.

Application Question(s):
- Have you worked on multifamily energy modeling projects? If so, briefly describe.
- Are you familiar with IRA, HER, or other energy rebate programs?
- Describe a time you had to solve a complex modeling or data problem without a clear path.
