Responsibilities

Conduct extensive data mining and analysis utilizing SQL, Python, R, SAS, and other analytics tools to extract meaningful patterns from large datasets.
Implement ETL processes with Talend or Bash scripts to prepare data for analysis while ensuring data quality and integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable database designs using SQL and database management systems.
Deploy models into production environments with a focus on model training, monitoring, and continuous improvement for real-world applications.
Utilize big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Unsupervised learning techniques to process vast datasets efficiently.
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Looker or similar tools to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
Explore linked data sources and integrate diverse datasets for enriched analysis; leverage natural language processing for text analytics projects.
Stay current with advancements in quantum engineering, machine learning frameworks, and AI research to innovate new solutions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in data science or analytics roles with a strong foundation in machine learning algorithms and frameworks like TensorFlow or similar.
Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, Java, C, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), with experience in model deployment and model training workflows.
Deep understanding of big data ecosystems such as Hadoop, Spark, and related technologies for scalable data processing.
Expertise in SQL database design, data mining techniques, and ETL processes using tools like Talend or custom scripting.
Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), linked data integration, and AI applications across various domains.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS for deploying scalable machine learning solutions.
Strong analytical skills complemented by experience with SAS or Looker for advanced reporting and visualization tasks.
