POSITION SUMMARY: The Radiography Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and development of the clinical component of the radiography program. This role ensures the program's alignment with accreditation standards from ABHES, JRCERT, and relevant state regulations. The Clinical Coordinator facilitates the integration of classroom learning with clinical practice, ensuring that students achieve competency in diagnostic radiography.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Lead the coordination and administration of the clinical training component, including student placements, supervision, and evaluation.
Develop, implement, and review clinical curriculum in alignment with the latest professional standards and technological advancements.
Ensure compliance with ABHES, JRCERT, and CDPH standards and regulations.
Supervise and mentor clinical instructors and preceptors, including conducting regular training and development sessions.
Facilitate communication between clinical sites, faculty, and students to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Manage clinical program documentation and maintain records of student progress and program compliance.
Participate in program review and strategic planning to continually enhance the quality of clinical education.
Act as a liaison between the program and external stakeholders, including clinical sites and accreditation bodies.

Strong leadership, administrative, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with students, faculty, and healthcare professionals.
Deep knowledge of diagnostic radiography practices and educational methods.
Proficiency in curriculum development, student evaluation, and academic advising.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Graduated from an accredited radiography program.
Holds a minimum of a Bachelor's degree; preference given to candidates with a master’s degree.
Possesses current ARRT certification in radiography or equivalent.
Demonstrates two years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.
Possesses at least one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
Demonstrates experience in instruction, student evaluation, and academic advising.
Holds a California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certificate and a Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist Permit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
